Himachal Veligandla, M.D., F.A.C.C did his residency training in internal medicine at Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska followed by general cardiology fellowship also at Creighton University. He then went on to do fellowship in interventional cardiology at Iowa Heart Program in Mercy Med Center  Des Moines Iowa where he trained in coronary and peripheral interventions .He practiced in St. Louis MO before he moved to Kentucky and has been practicing in Somerset KY since 2007. He practices all aspects of general cardiology and also interventional cardiology performing coronary and peripheral interventions. He has office locations in Somerset, Liberty and Columbia KY.

His spouse is also a physician who practices Infectious Diseases in Somerset, KY.
